From a small town in Jersey...

Our hometown was filled with schools that were- to put it nicely- not revered for their academics. We didn't have massive budgets, connections with prestigious schools, or mentors to support us into our higher education. That didn't stop us from wanting to go to top schools and working for companies that change the world.

We learned to rely on one another for support through the toughest APs, tutored each other on the SAT, built projects together, made connections with organizations outside of our school, and supported each other through the toughest challenges. By graduation, we were the only students in our grad classes that had been accepted into our reach schools. And we didn't stop there.

Helping students get into top schools that seem "too hard" to get into, work at companies that they don't think will accept them, or just get good grades in classes they don't think they're cut out for is what we're built on. We know how critical a strong community of experienced students and tutors can be in achieving your goals.

We started Summit Scholars to help kids with the same goal we had those years ago- going farther than anyone expected us go. And we'll prove it to you in every lesson.

Student Stories

Sunjunna Sankar

Los Angeles, California

Discrete math was by far the hardest class in my Com Sci master’s program at USC. The 2 tutors I got walked me through every problem set and met with me day or night even though they had their own finals going on. They were really good at giving clear solutions that helped me ace my final and now that I’m taking a machine learning course over the summer, they're helping me ace a lot of my homework too!

My son needed help preparing for the BCA entrance exam, and it made such a difference having a tutor who had actually gone took it. He knew exactly how the test worked and what to focus on and my son had a lot of confidence going in. Definitely coming back for college admissions when he's a senior.

I owe my daughter’s growth in English to her tutor. Her patience and support helped my daughter become more confident and engaged and her teachers are saying she actually enjoys reading and writing.
